These young people came all the way from Minneapolis to Mississippi to walk for the water in the Mississippi River Walk 2013. What an amazing group of young activists, leading their communities by being the change they wish to see!
Quote from Dr. Emoto
“It is important to sing to the water in your own body.”- Dr. Emoto
All of the water we have now is all the water we will EVER have.
On April 20th, 2013, a group of Indigenous Women and their allies will carry a ceremonial copper vessel of water from the confluence of the Ohio River at Point State Park in Pittsburgh, PA to Cairo, IL, where the Ohio joins the Mississippi River. We will walk 981 miles in prayer for the most polluted river in the United States.
